Find Renewal and Connection

If you are a clergywoman longing for space to breathe, reconnect, and rediscover your joy in ministry, I want to share a remarkable opportunity. The Thriving in Ministry program at Millsaps College—funded by the Lilly Endowment—offers two restorative retreats, four individual coaching sessions, and a process shaped by a coach approach to wellbeing. I’ll serve as your coach and guide throughout this journey, drawing from The Art of WellBeing framework to nurture reflection and renewal.

Once limited to participants from the Southeast, the program is now open to clergywomen nationwide and women in ministry from all denominations. Below you’ll find a personal invitation from Rev. Sally Bevill, Director of Thriving in Ministry:

Greetings from Thriving in Ministry at Millsaps College!

I’m reaching out with an exciting invitation to apply for the 5th Cohort of our Thriving in Ministry Program for Clergy Women, beginning this January and continuing for 15 months.

For six years, clergy women across the Southeast have joined us on this transformative journey—experiencing spiritual retreats of restoration and renewal, receiving coaching and mentorship, and forming friendships that have changed their lives. Many have overcome isolation and discovered fresh energy for leadership, personal growth, and wellbeing.

Now it’s your turn. I hope you’ll take a few minutes to read more about the program using the link below—and then go ahead and apply. Please also share this opportunity with other clergy women who might benefit.

The cost is only $500, and you’ll receive 6 CEUs. Your travel, materials, lodging, meals, and coaching sessions are all covered—thanks to generous Lilly Endowment funding. Truly, this program is a gift!

If you have questions, I’d love to hear from you—feel free to email or text me at 228-365-5138.
